Intermediate cavity trays acts as a damp proof course preventing water from penetrating the outer cavity wall and leading to internal dampness.
The trays come as pre-formed to eliminate the onsite difficulty inherent in conventional methods. Trays have a factory fitted flashing to the polypropylene tray.
Cavity trays come in left and right handed format. The trays also allow you to adjust to suit the cavity walls width.
The back panel of the tray folds back to cross the cavity. The intermediate cavity trays have an in-built groove along the back to allow the water to free flow down from one tray into another.
Trays can be manufactured to suit all degrees as well as type of outer skin. Standard tray is to suit 100mm brickwork with a rise of 75mm.
Block trays can also be manufactured to suit the customers spec.
